I just love this nugget of wisdom from Peter Cohen: “There is no one giant step that does it. It’s a lot of little steps.” This concise little droplet of truth and experience works at so many levels, whether it is improving our health, firming up an abdomen, building a business, or accomplishing any important project of lasting significance.

At Watermins, we’ve been hard at work and have very recently launched our first product EMDROPS at Amazon.com. It has taken a tremendous amount of effort and time (over four years), and truly a lot of little steps from the time the idea was conceived, to the present reality. If you are curious to know more, click here for the EMDROPS story. Even after those four years, we are still just at the start-up stage. It may take perhaps even more effort to spread awareness of this product to the millions of households that really need it. But we are comforted and energized by the knowledge and understanding that it is always little drops of water that fill every bucket. I sincerely believe that our job is mainly to keep a good attitude and do our best at taking those little steps on a consistent basis.

Dear Reader, I hope that you too are secure and confident in the knowledge that your important goals, no matter how challenging, are certainly within your reach, as long as you keep taking little steps towards your goals.

There’s something else I want to share in this blog post. In researching the above-mentioned inspirational quote by Peter A. Cohen, I came across this beautiful gem of a poem by Julia A. Carney, that was penned more than a century ago.

Little Things

Little drops of water

Little grains of sand

Make the mighty ocean

And the beauteous land

Little deeds of kindness,

Little words of love,

Make our earth an Eden,

Like the heaven above

And the little moments,

Humble though they be,

Make the mighty ages.

Of eternity.

— J. A. Carney (1845)

God bless her in heaven… I have a feeling that her lovely little poem will be around for eternity!
